Want to Learn more about Low Vision? Dr. Ho will be speaking at the next Visually Impaired Support (VIS) Group of Cumberland County, TN Inc. meeting on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 9:30 a.m. at the Sonshine Soup Kitchen, located at 69 Neecham St. This meeting is free to the public.

The VIS group recently celebrated its 10th year anniversary. They are a wonderfully active support group with many public programs including: three biennial InSight on Vision conferences, sponsoring five desktop electronic video magnifiers to be placed in various public areas (Fairfield Glade Resident Services, Fair Park Senior Center, a senior apartment complex and two at the Art Circle Library); providing a a resource guide; office rental services; transportation program; and the equipment on-loan program.
