Low Vision and Neuro-rehabilitation Optometrist: Dr. Ho
Dr. Jamie Ho is a leading expert in neuro-optometric rehabilitation and low vision, specializing in the complex “symphony” between the brain, body, and visual system. As the founder of Ho Vision Group and a dual Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and the Optometrist of Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA), she brings an elite level of board-certified expertise to Nashville.
Dr. Ho’s clinical approach goes beyond standard eye care. She is a pioneer in using Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Syntonic phototherapy to treat the autonomic imbalances often found in patients suffering from concussions, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries. Her work in bioptic telescopes and “imperfect fusion” provides life-changing solutions for those with significant vision loss who have been told they have no other options.
A dedicated researcher and peer reviewer for the Optometry and Visual Performance journal, Dr. Ho remains at the forefront of medical innovation—including emerging treatments for post-COVID-19 visual syndrome. Whether she is lecturing to medical specialists or working one-on-one with a patient, her goal remains the same: restoring the visual foundation necessary for a high quality of life.
I attended Tominaga Nakamoto University in Mexico. I have a US Equivalency of Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Medical Science. Although I am new to Optometry, I am eager to learn. Patients will find that I am an enthusiastic and caring! I love helping others and get excited when I notice patients progress. In my free time, you will find me cooking, hiking, or traveling.
