On Feb 20, 2016 in the PM, I suffered a “Brain Bleed” type of stroke. My recovery so far has been on going for over a year now. I was lucky that I lived through the stroke, a lot of people are not so fortunate. I learned from reading in a book about strokes that any portion of the brain that is touched by the “Blood” dies as a result. My bleed resulted in damage to the cerebellum which affects my balance. My whole left side was compromised and I suffered from double vision. After many months of rehab in various facilities, I am now able to walk with the aid of a walker and I am still accompanied by a caretaker at home. At one rehab facility in Murfreesboro, a suggestion was made that I work with Dr. Ho which has brought me to this point.
