Low Vision and Neuro-rehabilitation Optometrist: Dr. Ho

May 30, 2019 I had a brain bleed. I was flown from my hometown in Kentucky to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville TN. It affected my short term memory, eye sight (double vision), and balance. The headaches were the worst. I spent a week and 2 days in Neuro ICU. Then 13 days in patient rehabilitation. After leaving Skyline, I started outpatient rehab and the occupational therapist suggested I should go see Dr. Ho. First visit was on July 5. After 3 hours of testing, she said she could get me some glasses that would help with my vision and suggested a weighted collar to help with balance and feeling grounded. Then she did light therapy that helped with the headaches. My physical, speech, and occupational therapy started going much better. I graduated from those and returned to work on October 4, 2019. I truly believed that without seeing Dr. Ho that I would still be in therapy.
