On Feb 20, 2016 in the PM, I suffered a “Brain Bleed” type of stroke. My recovery so far has been on going for over a year now. I was lucky that I lived through the stroke, a lot of people are not so fortunate. I learned from reading in a book about strokes that any portion of the brain that is touched by the “Blood” dies as a result. My bleed resulted in damage to the cerebellum which affects my balance. My whole left side was compromised and I suffered from double vision. After many months of rehab in various facilities, I am now able to walk with the aid of a walker and I am still accompanied by a caretaker at home. At one rehab facility in Murfreesboro, a suggestion was made that I work with Dr. Ho which has brought me to this point.Working with her has enabled me to read again and now our plans are to further enable me to reach other goals such as driving, going back to my progressive lenses, etc. Dr. Ho’s encouragement and dedication have given me hope that my recovery is now just beginning and I have a ways to go yet. 05/31/2017

After a stroke left me with severe tunnel vision, I wasn’t sure how to proceed. Being visually impaired was something that disturbed me. Dr. Ho has been a blessing. Her care and expertise have been invaluable. She taught me a great deal about how to better utilize my limited visual field. Her instructions and visual exercises have not only improved my visual function, but also my outlook. Though I still have limitations (until God heals me), I know that I can live a fairly normal life and enjoy each day because of Dr. Ho’s guidance.

On December 2016, I had a life changing experience – I had a stroke. While recovering from the stroke, I developed Bell’s Palsy in January. Both diseases affected my eyes and I developed double vision, dizziness, and the inability to drive myself around. Someone referred me to DR. Ho for treatment. Within four months, she had me without double vision, my coordination improved to now not needing anyone to assist me. The story is kind and professional. They use the most updated techniques to bring about the necessary results to improve your health. I am very thankful for their help, kindness, and professional attitude. If you need visual assistance, you need to see Dr. Ho, OD.

I came to Dr. Ho with a bad vision problem. Following a tumor removal and Bell’s Palsy, I could see double of things and get really confused. Dr. Ho evaluated my vision and told me what my problems was. I started to do activities to improve my vision. When I first started, I did not think it would help. After several office visits and trying the activities more and more, I started to improve and see less double. I began to understand how much these exercises had helped me. I am so thankful for all the help and advice she has given me. She is a wonderful doctor and I really appreciate all she has done for me. Dr. Ho is Great!

Just the other day a friend of mine said, “I’m so glad you can drive again.” When I first came to Dr. Ho, I was afraid I might never ever look normal or drive again. Thanks to Dr. Ho and her exercises, I have regained all the mobility in my eye and I am now able to drive again! I feel like I have my life back again. What the stroke stole from me, I have been given back. Dr. Ho is a talented, gifted physician. I would recommend her to anyone and I am forever grateful for the wonders she has wrought.

My husband and I are so very grateful for Dr. Ho. Her therapy enabled Bill to return to driving after his stroke. Her kindness, support, and encouragement meant a great deal to us. Being able to drive again meant so much to Bill.
